The rumours started...
It was with some scepticism that I first went
to press on the Little Angels section of this web site about Toby's plans to
go solo once more. The first indication that the rumours might just be
true came when Stuart Wild posted a message on the notice board on 31
October, viz.
With
the possibility Toby is releasing a new album (soon), I did a random URL,
with his name and found an "Under Construction" site. Possibly his new
promo site for the forthcoming album, events and tour etc.?

November 2001 This gets better and
better. I cannot wait to see the old faces at the shows in March. For me,
this has been a long time coming and I intend to do the best shows I
possibly can! I don't intend to disappear again. I'm in this for the
long haul and cannot begin to thank you all for your continued support
throughout the years between and now again - Unbelievable ! I feel very
humbled. I would like to invite you all to suggest songs you would like to
hear on the tour. I have already got a list, but you are the ones who's
opinions matter most. Post suggestions here and I will visit the site over
the next couple of weeks for reactions. All other news will be confirmed via
my official site in December when it goes on line. Until then, watch the
rumour mill turn... Very exciting Kindest regards
Tobe

December 2001 For the past three month I have been amazed at the
response to the news about me getting back to playing and recording. I
couldn't have made such an instant impact without this site, as well as
other's set up by dedicated fans. I hope my site will compel you all
to visit it as much as you obviously do here. I sincerely want to thank you
all for being so enthusiastic and constructive, your comments have really
helped me to focus on what is important, some have been overwhelming and
make me realise how powerful music can be in peoples lives. I am dedicated
to making great music for you all in the future and hope you can be as
generous about the new material as you have been about the old. I am
positive, mentally and physically fit, to take on the rock world again and
win. I make no idle boast. It will be hard, but with thousands of friends,
I'm sure the task will be not only easier but FUN and exhilarating!

Tobe et al are still working to the original date of the 21st December for
the launch of tobyjepson.com, however some details are still being finalised
and it may not now be available until the 28th December.
What else can I tell you?
1) I hear that the drummer's brother produces
Sting!
2) The guitar player is associated wqith Grant
from The Big Bad Horns
Add those snippets to news about the drummer
and the bass player, and its starting to look like a band! |

February 2002 Just wanted to say once again how grateful I have
been with all of your continued support, especially now leading up to the
tour. It has been a roller coaster ride for me over the last few
months what with not only preparing to launch myself back into the music
scene, but also facing the past and trying to keep it all in perspective.
You have all helped enormously with this, most of you understanding how
difficult it will be going out and playing the old songs without appearing
to be treading water, and at the same time débuting the most important
element, THE NEW MATERIAL! My wish is that all who attend the shows can
enjoy a small trip down memory lane, but above all check out the new band
and material for the future, 'cause that's where I'm heading. It won't be
the same, just different! One things for certain though, it will be ME
firing on all cylinders with a kicking new band, playing my songs
and thoroughly enjoying playing live again. with the kindest
regards see you all out there... Tobe
And finally... The EP was launched

On the 7th March 2002, the Refresh EP was
launched, containing five tracks rather than the six tracks previously
rumoured. All are hard-hitting, passionate, driving songs, and all
emphasise Toby's strong voice, which sure hasn't weakened in his musical
absence. The Musicians are:
Toby Jepson: vocals, some acoustic guitar and
percussion Roger
Davis: Bass guitar, programming, percussion, some backing vocals
Nick Dunne: all
electric guitars and acoustic guitars, keys, some backing vocals
Matt Eldridge:
