Little Angels

TOO GOOD TO LAST

Ever since we released the original 'Too Posh To Mosh' mini vinyl album on Powerstation Records in 1987 we have been constantly asked by fans if we would make it available again, it being so hard and expensive to get on the collectors market.  So, as we wanted to make the final Little Angels record something special for our forever loyal followers, then what better way than to re-release the album.  So we hunted the original studios, Scarborough lofts, Jim's sock draw, in an effort to locate the original tapes and artwork (gratefully helped by Nick Waters, Keith Herd, and Denise Love).   We discovered that of the two original multi-track tapes, one was left at Slaughterhouse Studios in Driffield but was destroyed in a fire there in 1990.  For some fortunate reason the other had ended up at Toby's parents house, so we have been able to completely remix the three tracks that were on that reel, Reach for Me, Bad or Just No Good, and Burning Me.  The other four tracks only existed in their mixed form, but we were able to get Ray Staff to remaster these for us in true Zeppelin style! One bonus was that we found an unreleased track - Some kind of Alien - which was recorded during the 'Too Posh' sessions but not included on the original album.

For those people who only got to know the band in later years, we felt it would be great to record some brand new tracks too so that this would be the definitive 'start to finish' package, so the first three tracks on this album are the last ever Little Angels songs, recorded on May 18th and 19th, 1994.

We hope you get as much enjoyment from this album as we have had in the years that span this music.  It would take forever to thank everybody by name for their help over the past ten years, but a special thankyou must go to the LAFC, the Big Bad Horns, Mike Dewdney, the Dickinson, Plunkett, Jepson and Richardson clans, and to our true friend and 'sixth Angel', Kevin.
