Is it really 11 eleven years since the Albert Hall gig? Wow.

I was down the front just in front of Bruce for the whole gig.

One of the best live gigs I've ever been to.

Oh boy, these guys were a HUGE part of my adolescence! I saw them at Rock City, Milton Keynes (ZZ Top & Bon Jovi) plus not forgeting Derby when they released Jam. My Girlfriend (now wife) Mel even got a local artist to paint the LA Devil on the back of a Bikers black leather Jacket as an 18th Birthday present. I later saw the band in Ainsleys Record shop(now closed) Leicester and got my jacket signed by the boys. I used to drag Mel all over the midlands to record fairs looking for the likes of the '87 EP and other rarities. Now I'm 33 married with a little Angel of my own (called Jack). I'm definitely NOT too posh to mosh and still have fantastic memories of the Little Angels in Derby giving it their all (their best concert in my opinion). Rock City was a close second I remember meeting Toby and the others in the pub over the road before the gig. I was totally pissed but still lost for words! Hey, what do you expect when you meet your heros...

I have SO much to thank Little Angels for! Picture the scene, an awkard shy 14 year old boy goes to see a great rock n' roll band at Liverpool Royal Court, only the second gig he'd been allowed to go to without his parents. His hair now past his shoulders and looking like he belongs in this crowd of rockers, reprobates and boozehounds. A little inebriated after his second overpriced warm lager of the evening he begins to dance as his favourite tune 'Boneyard' strikes up. All of a sudden, dancing next to him and smiling is a girl of a similar age. Olive skinned and with eyes you could lose yourself in. BANG! That boy meets his first love and the soundtrack to this bliss is an amazing rock band at the top of their game. Of course like the LITTLE ANGELS, this first love was not to last forever but to this very day, the boy (now 28) opens a can of warm Stella every now and then, cranks up the stereo and listens to his well worn vinyl copies of Don't Prey For me and Young Gods and toasts the band for making his journey into the 'Big Bad World' of adulthood all the more fun!

Maybe it's best the Angels split up when they did.

Just been listening to Little Of The Past. The two "new" tracks are horrendous!!! Rest of the album rocks though...
