October 2003

From Steve Jones on 23 October 2003

This solo album of Toby's is taking soooooooo long! I'm sure it'll be worth it, but I can't help thinking how many die hard fans are actually going to buy it?!!

From Thomas on 22 October 2003

Hey there,

don´t know if this topic was mentioned before (I was too lazy to root through all the archives), but - as I´m not a native English-speaker - I´ve been searching for years for the lyrics of the "Young Gods"-album! Especially "Feels Like The World Has Come Undone" (what a f***ing great song!) and "Natural Born Fighter".
Does anybody where to find them?

Thanks for helping

thomas

From Steve Goodman on 19 October 2003

Hi,
I'm looking for a copy of The last ever gig at the Albert Hall , I heard that one was in circulation, but have never been able to track it down - I am willing to trade for it, I have a couple of Angels bootlegs - 1 B.L.O.W - a couple Thunder and a whole host of Wildhearts if anyone is interested .
Please contact me at shjgoodman@btopenworld.com
.
To the person looking for an answer on where "she can never be you " came from it was from the original B.L.O.W tape "Legalise it" I have a copy that I have converted to cd, More than willing to run you off a copy If you send us a cd - email me at the above email address.
Cheers
Steve

Can't believe i've actually found a web site dedicated to my favourite band. I followed the band for years and people knew my house as "Little Angelica" because as soon as you walked through the front door you were confronted with framed photos of the guys and memorabila. Everyone i met through the meet and greets had stories to tell and it was like one big family, the dedication was like nothing i had ever known. A friend and i went to see them at Nottingham Rock City on the Christmas Jam tour and actually spent the night in a doorway next to the train station becuase we had to be on a certain train back to Hull. Then the following night i saw them at York barbican. Kept in contact with Bruce for a long time but lost touch just before he left Guilford. Still carry a photo of Bruce around with me as no one will ever replace him. No other band will ever come close to them.

Iain - of course I don't mind you using the pictures of Bruce's guitar, they're not really mine anyway, I had to trawl through a load of David Sneddon sites to find them and convince myself that my eyes weren't deceiving me. Thanks for posting the link to my blog as well, I shall have to watch what I'm writing from now on!

P.S Full marks to whoever can tell me the reference in the title of my blog?!

Spent a fun afternoon the other day going through a load of old magazine interviews and articles, including the pictures from Jim's stag night, which were rather disturbing! I've also had fun regaling Feeder fans with stories of Rich's 'former life', and a few Ronan Keating fans with tales of Mark's!

I'm off to see Feeder in December, and can't wait, but you can tell you're getting old when you book seated tickets rather than standing. And big respect to Rich for not recognising the Coldplay intro on Buzzcocks!

Clare.

I'm desperatly after a song that b.l.o.w. recorded.I believe it was called she may never be you.  Can someone let me know what this was recorded on and if ther is any other b.l.o.w material other than the albums released and the shroomin E.P.

Cheers

If anyone is interested, Nick Dunne (Toby's guitar player on Refresh and the 2002 tour) has recorded a new album called Anhedonia.

It's instrumental, mainly guitar and piano and it sounds very good.

If you like to buy a copy (it's £5) send an email to ncrooks78@yahoo.co.uk and I'll send details.
