December 2003

From alien x on 27 December 2003

Is that Grant Kirkhope, as in, the uh.. wonderful composer of music for Rare games?

Good album, excellent live tracks. I'll have to listen to the new stuff a lot more I think over Christmas.

Noticed that Refresh Yourself is also on the live CD but not mentioned on the tracklisting.

CRIPES!

What can we say about Twisted Rhapsodies!?  Fantastic only just comes near!

Good to hear that Toby has fulfilled a quote I read somewhere, and the album is very much different to what he's ever produced so far.

The intro pipes to "When Love has gone" was a real unexpected eye opener.

"Crush" - is a personal favourite. Very mellow, and appropriate at the moment.

The Live CD is also very cool.  I've never managed to catch Toby or Little Angels live, which I kick and grudge myself for.

I did manage to catch Mark Richardson at the latest Feeder-Wembly gig. And he seems to fit into the band pretty well.  He was hammering like anyone's business and sounded great! Quite funny how all the little sprogs there didn't know him from the LA days, shame,... but still I was prob more into the drums than actually Feeder :P

So Toby, Bruce, Mark, Mark & Jimmy, .. when's the Little Angels reunion eh!?  You know it WILL happen one day, just make sure we all know about it!!!!! :)

You know you can never say never !,...

Happy Crimble everyone!

How sad is today? The last ever official release date by an Angel (except Mark Richardson I suppose).

Can't wait for the CD to pop through my door. Can everyone who gets it review it? It would be nice to see the differing opinions.
