From Stuart Wild on 31 October 2001

With the possibility Toby is releasing a new album (soon), I did a random URL, with his name and found an "Under Construction" site.

Possibly his new promo site for the forthcoming album, events and tour etc.?

Keep checking,....

I have been searching for a 12" single I used to have many years ago. I can't remember the band, but Little Angels seems to ring a bell. I think the disc may may been "Boneyard". This was sold as a picture disc. Can anybody tell me what the picture was? Please reply to adam_s_phillips@hotmail.com

Hello!

Andy - looking for the Sail Away tab still? I'm *fairly* sure I've got a (paper) copy knocking about.

Will see if I can dig it up for you...

Anyone got any info on Toby's new album progress?

Hi,

Just thought you may like to know that you can actually see Toby in a scene in the movie Gladiator. At one point just after the main battle and before the Emperor is killed Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix are walking through a tent talking. In the background are some Roman Legionnaire's drinking and talking. Watch carefully behind Crowe as one of the soldiers turns and looks at the camera then quickly looks back - thats Toby! This info was passed onto me by his mum (I used to live next-door-but-one to them and went to school with his sister Beth). Toby was also a Barbarian in the main battle (His mum showed me pics of him in this outfit where he is posing with his daughter who looks pretty scared). Toby was also an extra in 10 episodes of "Band of Brothers" by Steven Spielberg which can currently be seen on BBC TV and the remake of Les Visiteurs a flim starring Jean Reno. As to memories of the band, I can remember them playing a concert in my school (Scalby for those who know it) hall one dinnertime. (I didn't go cos I had only just moved to North Yorkshire and I didn't know who they were then). And I remember bumping into Toby in the Post Office after school one day (a while later when I'd learnt all about the band) and asking what the new album was gonna be called and he told me it was "Jam". If Toby ever reads this then "Hello, Great to see your film work going well! Oh and pass on my thanks to your Dad and mum for my reference for my new job, and give my love to your sister Beth, who will always be a babe!"

I can't believe I've just found this site like 7 years after the split! I can't also believe how many people are still into them and remember them like me. How cool is that! Excellent, excellent site!

Back in 1991 I discovered Little Angels and I can honestly say my life changed for the better from that moment. I spent the next few years trekking all over Britain to watch as many gigs as I could and I had the pleasure of getting to know the guys quite well. Jim even stayed at my mum and dad's house after a BLOW gig in Glamorgan Uni and kept me and my friends awake all night talking!!!

I was devastated when Little Angels split up and felt like a vital part of my life was over. Although I transferred my allegiance to BLOW and Skunk Anansie it was not the same. Little Angels had a magical quality and a fan base unlike any other band I've ever come across. Now I check this site regularly to see if there is any news on what the guys are up to. Recently I had a dream that they'd reformed and were doing a comeback tour but I was so disapointed when I realised that it wasn't true! Looks like I'll have to go and see Ronan Keating instead...
