TOBY!!!

YOU'RE BACK - AT LONG LAST!!

Can't wait for the tour!

My vote for track:

Colour of love - that track means a lot to me and the emotion that comes across in it is unbelievable!

Also: don't prey for me, I ain't gonna cry, I Won't Be With You and what ever else!  It'll be great anyways!  See you there...

Dez

From Cora on 27 November 2001

Wow, I didn't know about this site until a few minutes ago and I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed my visit here.
It was a bit like travelling in time thinking back to 1993 when I saw LA touring here in Germany :-)
Cheers!

Cora

Hi All.

I wish it was March now! I'm so looking forward to seeing Toby in Northampton.

I'd like to hear "Juvenile Offender" or "Kicking up Dust". Actually I'd be happy with any LA songs, anything to make up for not being able to make it to the Albert Hall - I still have my unused ticket :(

Dunk.

P.S. Can anyone read Japanese cos I'd love to have the Japanese liner notes of "Young Gods" translated into English.

From Lynne on 26 November 2001

I would love to hear you play 'Ain't gonna cry' again - it's my fave LA song.  Also 'Eyes wide open' 'cos it's such a great live song and I loved the way you used to twirl your hair round to it! Don't suppose you can do that anymore!
See you in London.

From Neil Maynard on 26 November 2001

Cant wait for March!!! See you all in Cardiff!!

My vote for song to play goes to Do You Wanna Riot as I never managed to hear it live and would love to!!

From Colin on 26 November 2001

Have heard a brilliant rumour about Tobys upcoming gigs (from a very reliable source)........

Dave Kemp (Big Bad Horns) will be making appearances at some of the gigs.

It just gets better and better.

From Sharon on 26 November 2001

Can't think of anything to say, I've picked a couple of songs but to be honest I wish you could play them ALL!!!

Better of without me
Some people are more equal than others
I ain't gonna cry
Womankind
Radical Your lover
And definitely Don't Prey for me..........

Can't wait!

Sharon

From Grant haycock on 26 November 2001

I'd never heard of the Little Angels until i heard 'to much to young' and then i was hooked!, that is such a belter of a song and is still my favorite angels track (along with sail away), so to hear those would be fantastic, went to the last angles gig at the albert hall which was incredible & ultimatley sad at the same time, to me there has'nt been anybody near as good since, so really lokking foward to hearing toby's new album & seeing him play at the garage in London.

Rocking Again!!

From David on 25 November 2001

I know that this is'nt a LA song but it would meana lot to me if ya sang this song.

Ya see my Dad died earlier this month and it would mean a lot to me if you sang this.

It is FREEBIRD by lynyrd skynyrd.

Love ya loads Toby and I'll definatly be there in Manchester trying to sing all the great songs that LA have accomplishished in the past.

From Claire on 25 November 2001

I first saw Little Angels supporting Marrilion at Aston Villa Leisure Center and was completely hooked. I bought everything, I even have some signed albums, (that dates me!!) one tour I went to three gigs in the week!!. I have just been on the Rock City Site and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Toby was touring again. I can't wait, I would love to hear any Little Angels track again. I loved the acoustic numbers Sail away and the Colour of Love from Jam. Looking forward to next year!!

From John Thomson on 25 November 2002

I would love to hear anything off Don't Prey for Me...the heavier the better. Of course I am just bursting with excitement at the prospect of hearing ANY 'Angels song live again....
John

From Jon on 25 November 2001

I run a weekly rock-out in Wickford,Essex (Swan's if anyone is local) and the 'Angels are on the the playlist along side bands like Papa Roach, and Limp Bizkit.  I think it's brilliant that the LA have been building up a newer following and reaching another audience.  Great site, Angels STILL rule!

Hi everyone. Isn't this great news.

I've got a song for ya Toby.

Some people are more equal than others.

Love the song and I know I'll love all your new ones too.

From Toby on 23 November 2001

This gets better and better. I cannot wait to see the old faces at the shows in March.

For me, this has been a long time coming and I intend to do the best shows I possibly can!
I don't intend to disappear again. I'm in this for the long haul and cannot begin to thank you all for your continued support throughout the years between and now again - Unbelievable ! I feel very humbled.
I would like to invite you all to suggest songs you would like to hear on the tour.  I have already got a list, but you are the ones who's opinions matter most. Post suggestions here and I will visit the site over the next couple of weeks for reactions.
All other news will be confirmed via my official site in December when it goes on line. Until then, watch the rumour mill turn...
Very exciting

Kindest regards

Tobe

From Bob on 21 November 2001

Hi everyone - I'm looking forward to the new EP and very excited to discover today that Toby is coming to Norwich in March (check out www.norwichartscentre.co.uk)We don't get much good rock stuff here since The Oval shut down many years ago. There's also a new band called Medication playing at the arts centre who look like they might be quite good.

Rock on.
Bob

For anyone who missed out on the excellent Ignorance is Bliss I have heard that you can expect a remastered version to be re-released in the near future.  (Just in time for the tour in March).  It should be available through www.tobyjepson.com when it goes live mid December.

Buy it !

From Sharon on 15 November 2001

Aha!  I happen to have heard that Toby will be playing Little Angels tracks during the shows in March, as well as his solo material.  You can expect to see popular songs like Womankind and Too Much Too Young, along with some of Toby's personal favourites.

Its nice to have some gossip for a change!

Look how excited everyone is getting!

From Sharon on 12 November 2001

Arrrrgh, whats all this about a new album by Toby?  And why isn't there any info on here?  Where have you all heard this from?  Too many questions!

From John Thomson on 8 November 2001

I was driving home tonight & heard "Too Much Too Young" on Radio 2. Did anyone else hear this too? Is this a comeback in terms or radio play?????
Keep rocking,
John

From Grayson Jones on 5 November 2001

WOW!  That's 2 sites in 2 years. Excellent site, nice to see I'm not the only one longing for a comeback tour. I mean, if bands like Duran bloody Duran and ABC can do comeback tours, then there's definately hope.... I am desperately looking for copies of bootlegs. If anyone can help please e-mail me. I also have a large number myself and would be willimg to swap or sell copies.

Does anyone have any more news on Toby's new solo album? PLEASE.

Keep writimg. Hopefully if we nag the band on these sites, long enough, for a reunion, then who knows???????

From Webgit on 3 November 2001

Dear All

Very nice to meet all you people that still remember the Little Angels. I used to be taught by John Dickenson Bruce and Jimmys Dad and knew the band in the old days when they were known as Mr Thrud, and even have a promo tape they made at there first recording session. My other claim to fame is that my Dad lent them a grand in order to get some records pressed which led to them getting signed. I will be back here a lot more now hope to see more messages.
