From TRACY on 31 December 2001
in the jan 2002 issue of classic rock magazine there is half a page
on toby about his tour etc
also at the back of the mag there is an advert of his tour
From Toby on 30 December 2001
Many, many thanks to all you who have sent messages of support to this amazing site. I also appreciate all the suggestions for the tour. I have taken note of everything that has been listed and will be making final decisions regarding the tour set very soon. Needless to say we were all on the same wave length and I intend to rehearse quite a few so I can change them per gig...
From Tracy on 27 December 2001
DID ANYONE WATCH BBC ON BOXING DAY MORNING WILL THE PRESENTERS WERE SINGING XMAS CAROL BRUCES GUITAR WAS BEING USED BY SOME YOUNG LAD I KNOW IT WAS HIS CAUSE IT WAS BLACK WITH ALL THE MARKING OF THE LITTLE ANGELS DAYS ON IT , ITS SO DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BLACK GUITARS
From Richard Scott on 21 December 2001
Great to hear your back Toby !!!
I can't wait to see you again. It's been so long... But it's so good that
your back.
Since LA split up I can clearly say that there has been no other band that
has matched the live performances that you guys gave. Most bands do not
have a clue how to play live and sometimes I was left wondering if they
wanted to play at all. That was never the case with you guys. There's a
big hole out there in the rock world Toby and it needs YOU to fill it.
Just one thing though... Please make more 'Jump up and down' Rock music
similar to LA!!! That's whats needed.
As for songs to play. Anything.... Also what about 1 or 2 covers... You
guys did some excellent ones in the past... Won't get fooled again etc.
Look forward to it.....
PS. Did you get rid of the camper van in the end ?
From Tony Tice on 20 December 2001

From Jo on 18 December 2001
It made my day when I heard Toby's back! I'd be over the moon to hear
any LA song, but the faves would be Womankind, Broken Wings of an Angel &
Kicking Up Dust.
Cannot wait 'til the London gig!
From bigbadworld.net on 17 December 2001
Tobe et al are still working to the original date of the 21st December for the launch of tobyjepson.com, however some details are still being finalised and it may not now be available until the 28th December.
The latest breaking news will be posted to Hot Off the Press.
From maria on 16 December 2001
hi Tobe, it´s amazing! I write to you from Spain, I imagine you can´t
remember me, but we met in Madrid in May, 1993 during your european tour,
I told you I wasn´t allowed to go to the concert that night, and the next
morning I went to your Hotel to see you guys, right before you left for
the airport.
I´d like to know how can I find in Spain your albums, I´ve tried with no
success for several years (was "Ignorance is bliss" ever published here?),
and if you´re gonna publish your new album over here, (please, do so,
please, please!!!)
I´m happy to hear that your life is so wonderful, I bet your kids are the
cutest in the world!
and last, I want to thank you for making me feel I was your best fan
(which of course, I am!!!)
Love always,
María

For the past three month I have been amazed at the response to the news about me getting back to playing and recording. I couldn't have made such an instant impact without this site, as well as other's set up by dedicated fans. I hope my site will compel you all to visit it as much as you obviously do here. I sincerely want to thank you all for being so enthusiastic and constructive, your comments have really helped me to focus on what is important, some have been overwhelming and make me realise how powerful music can be in peoples lives. I am dedicated to making great music for you all in the future and hope you can be as generous about the new material as you have been about the old. I am positive, mentally and physically fit, to take on the rock world again and win. I make no idle boast. It will be hard, but with thousands of friends, I'm sure the task will be not only easier but FUN and exhilarating!
From Sarah on 14 December 2001
So many good songs to choose from, but I think it would have to be:-
Kicking Up Dust
Too Much Too Young
Radical Your Lover
From Ben Tetley on 14 December 2001
Eh-up Toby,
It's wicked that you're up & running again mate, it's been over 6 years
since ignorance is bliss tour - far, far too long, we've all been worried
about you!
If you're planning on playing some Angels stuff, how about Juvenile
Offender? Will it be the same without Bruce's solo?!
See you in Nottingham mate - proper looking forward to it!
From Bruce J Stedman <g> on 13 December 2001
Looking forwards to the Bristol gig.
Trouble is, the rest of my 'crew' are in different parts of the country now.
Gone are the days when we'd all turn up to the pub wearing the same L/A
t-shirt.
BJS
PS - I think I just managed to send Toby a blank email by being over zealous
with the mouse. Whoops!

My friend from Aberdeen, originally Dreghorn Ayrshire, has alerted me
to Toby's Concert Tour next March. At the time of Little Angels he seen

We won't make The Cathouse Gig in Glasgow but will endeavour to get to Uni
SC in Newcastle, the second tour date I believe ?
I don't know whether he's already bot the tickets but has booked
accommodation in Newcastle and is phoning me this weekend to confirm
things.
Could Toby please play my three personal faves, She's A Little Angel,
Boneyard & Back Door Man.

narrow it down any further...
So where have they gone?

Cheers

From Micahel Bradbrook on 4 December 2001
Glad to hear that Toby Jepson is touring again. I will be going to see
him at Newcastle and my wife will be with me as we are both into Little
Angels as well as he is solo stuff upto date.
For song that Toby could play live why not Splendid Isolation. That very
song has memories from way back and when ever I play that song it brings
those happy memories back. Also Don't Prey For Me, Do you wanna riot, No
Solution and Young Gods.
Thanks Michael.
From Steve Kilroy on 3 December 2001
Hello Toby
Great news to hear you are to reappear in the music biz.
Way back in 1991 in Harrogate I formed a 5 a side football team called
Little Angels after your band.
That's how much of an influence you were to me back then. I also knew
Grant quite well and used to watch his band MFOR on the local circuit.
Anyway, enough of this nostalgia!
My favourite song has always been No Solution andI would love to see you
play it live.
Ilook forward to your tour and wish you every success.
Kind Regards
Steve
