April 2001 |
From Michael Bradbrook on 23 April 2001
Great to see a web site dedicated the great Little Angels.
I managed to catch them live before they split. Since they left the
rock scene threr hasn't been a band like them or sound like them and I wish
they would get back to what they do best and play live and record music
again for the fans.
See Ya

Little Angles back on TV, alas minus Toby though..
Sad as it is that I have to say I caught the back end of the Pepsi chart
show on Thursday night, but wanted to try and remind you all to catch the
Pepsi Chart Show on Channel5 Saturday 21st at about 3.30 pm, the repeat.
But flicking the channels... How COOOL!.. Little Angels....
On Thursdays show, basically Little Angels WAS Ronan Keatings backing band.
All but Toby were there.. Including Bruce with what looked like a blue Peavy
EVH, (no fish bones on the guitar this time!) Jimmy on keyboards, Mark
Plunkett looking huge! And (I think) Mark Richardson on drums, but need this
confirming because the camera was panning way too much on Keating, and if
right he looks to have a skin head.
Hope those interested get this in time to catch the repeat..

MARKS BANK SKUNK ANANSIE HAVE SPLIT UP

From Rie on 01 April 2001
Hi, from Japan.
I'm 25, female.
I'm happy to find this website
and to know what they're up to.
Little Angel's songs always cheer me up even
now.
Now I'm doing some jobs about music.
I often feel their influence in the way that I live.
:-)
I don't know how many fans still exist in Japan,
but recently I found one Japanese website
about rock guitarists that introduces Bruce.
I hope my country's fans still love them.
I fortunately got Jim's greeting card, because
one Japanese music company(perhaps
Japanese Polydor) held a contest about 10
years ago.(many years have passed!)
It's true that Jimmy's band, Younger Younger
28's ' singles were hit in Japanese radio
stations. "Soap" is available even in a small
CD shop.
It is a little hard for me to write in English, but I
thought I had to say thank you to all who wrote
in this board when I found this.
And also... thanks to Toby, Jimmy, Bruce,
Mark, Rich, and Big Bad Horns!
Love, Rie
