Great web site. Feels like I've been zapped back in time, many, many happy memories of gigs and late nights but we still listen to the music regularly and it still sounds fantastic. I cry every time I hear sail away ( I am the girl in that song ) and I laugh everytime I hear soapbox. They were the best band I have ever seen live. Glad to hear all the band are happy and re-populating the country; funny but they always seemed normal boys next door and it seems they remain that way having not let their undoubted talent go to their heads. If the band are reading this thanx for producing such timeless music.

Excellent to see someone's keeping the memory alive!  I followed the band right from the Rock'n'roll education tour, to the emotional gig at the Albert Hall.  Having read/heard/seen plenty about most of the band over the last few years, it's great to see that Toby's keeping happy.  Yes, I bought the "Toby and the whole truth" album, and (at the time) found it quite depressing, as it was difficult not to read all sorts of things into the lyrics.  I still dig it (and my LA stuff) out occasionally, and it all still sounds superb.  It just goes to show that great music stays with us for a lot longer than the bands who made it do.  Keep up the good web-work.

Hi there I just saw your Little Angels website and I thought I'd e-mail
you and let you know that I think it's great to see that people still
care about them. I read the e-mail from Toby and I think it is fantastic
that he would acknowledge your website.
I live in Australia and getting any Little Angels stuff was next to
impossible.
Was the Toby Jepson album ever released on a major label as I have been
looking for a copy since I read in Kerrang that it was coming out.

Cheers
Steve

P.S. I don't suppose you would have any Little Angels bootlegs that you
could sell me a copy of, as I never had the opportunity to see them live
and they were my favourite band for quite a while.

Keep up the good work

Still long into my search for tabs I found this site you may want to tell people about.

They have quite a lot of Little Angel back catalogue material.  They claim to have a lot of promo material too!?

Hi,

After spending many months and years, cruising around the web for Little
Angels info, there only seems to be a select few that realise the band ever
existed.  Bit of a shame really considering they have had to have been one
of the UK's best rock bands around.  Three endless summer-like albums have
carved an impression on my life that'll never fade.  Such anthems as Too
Much Too Young, Sail Away and Boneyard.

Anyway, to the point...  I've been endlessly looking for a Tab version of
'Sail Away'  I managed to pick a few of the chords up but never managed to
get past the first 2 or 3 riffs.  If you have this tab or a souce where to
purchase it I would be very grateful.

Considering Toby manages to check this site, maybe he would be kind enough
to send us a copy??  (You never know!)

One final question, does anyone know where the Sail Away vid was filmed?
Been having an argument for a while now with a friend, and I'm sure it's
Filey Brig??

Many years on ....

The Little Angels were and are very talented musicians and I for one still get great pleasure listening to them.

More than that they are a great inspiration. As a youth worker in the North East of England, not too far from the Little Angels home, I can identify with many of the lyrics that the Angels used to sing about - You were an inspirtaion for me and for many `Young Gods` to be. Good Luck for everything you try in the future!!!

It's been really good to reminisce on the great times we all had with Mr Thrud, then the Little Angels back in the late 80's and early 90's. I was brought up in Scarborough and went to Sixth Form with Toby, Bruce and Mark Plunkett. I was in the same form as Bruce (my claim to fame!).

I remember their first Mr Thrud "gig" in one of the portakabins at the 6th form college and then loads of gigs at the old Theatre in the Round.

As everybody else, I wish they hadn't split and I still think their music is fantastic.
